GLO is a Canadian-owned small business that believes in sustainable
consumption and
fair trade practices. Their cotton is grown in India by
family farmers organized in co-operatives that are
Fair Trade Certified
and
Certified Organic. They use hydrogen peroxide (not chlorine bleach)
for
whitening and only use eco-friendly fiber reactive, low impact dyes
that use less energy, water and produce less waste.
Printing is done
with water-based pigments that do not contain any heavy metals,
phthalates or PVC. All their cotton products are pre-shrunk
chemically-free using rubber pads and steam. Minimal shrinkage will
still occur in the first few washes and this is accounted for in sizing.
When unwrapped the sides will cover baby and the cute piglet head will fit on baby's head - keeping baby cuddly & warm after bath-time (and super cute!) Fits Baby
